From D4F Games to Itamde: my journey into game development

June 23 2020

Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog!

I created this space to share my ongoing projects and to document the path I’m taking toward what has long been my dream: working in video game development.

From Web to Game Development

Today, I run my own business as a web developer. Yet, alongside client projects, I dedicate time to creating small games, often through game jams on itch.io.

Programming has always been more than just a job description to me. In game development, I discovered where passion and creativity truly meet: the thrill of writing lines of code that bring worlds to life, the challenge of fine-tuning performance for smooth gameplay, and the satisfaction of solving intricate puzzles that make a project come together.

Building a Team and a Vision

Under the banner of D4F Games—soon to become Itamde—a small but motivated team has started to take shape. We count on:

  • two Unity3D programmers,
  • a musician,
  • a pixel artist,
  • and myself, handling game design, level design, and overall project architecture.

At the moment, we’re working on a 2D action platformer designed to test players’ reflexes: a side-scrolling adventure with Rogue-lite elements.

A Growing Space

Soon, I’ll be updating the website’s layout to make it more engaging and easier to navigate.
In the meantime, think of this post as my personal “hello world”—a starting point, a welcome, and an open invitation to follow along as this journey unfolds.

Stay tuned: there’s plenty more to come.

Kinetic typography is the web design trend you can’t ignore in 2026

There was a time when text on a website stayed put. It sat on the page, did its job, and that was that. In 2026, text moves, breathes, and tells a story before you've even finished reading it. Kinetic typography — the art of animating text — is reshaping how we think...
